Sorry to be so tardy on the news I was to receive on June 1st. Unfortunately, it appears that I will no longer have my research position for much longer due to grant funding falling through. The loss of my job could be as early as July 31st which is what my contract has now been written or be extended to Sept 1st. There is a slim possibility that I might still be getting paid until December of this year for which I have all of my fingers and toes crossed! I could easily be placed in another lab and it would allow us to stay in the area and enjoy our house some more (we’ve only lived here for 1.5 years). However, you know how I roll and I like to keep those exciting changes coming along.
