the obliteration room

you know those days when you simply cannot wait to unwind and kick off your shoes? for me, sometimes it’s an interpretive dance session to this song in our living room (usually met with nate’s roaring laughter) or a short session of yoga. there are times when i just want to make a mess and leave it (a rare occasion for my neat freak self) and this paper confetti installation made my heart sing! by the way, tissue confetti is an easy DIY. check it here.

there is a certain playfulness about Yayoi Kusama’s work here. the blank canvas begs to be used and there is order in this chaos. you see it don’t you? love interactive art!
