rainy day fun

i am so so happy that it finally rained! my poor herb garden desperately needed it and i needed some cooler temperatures! i sort of have a love affair with autumn so these hot, humid days and i don’t get along so well. i actually had to wear a cardigan as i was a bit chilly with the rain! we stayed indoors and spent some quality time watching movies with ice cream. honestly, i cannot understand how there are 4 servings in a pint. i just eat the whole thing in a sitting haha. this was a new to me company and flavor! they are called KOV (pronounced ‘cove’) and are kosher, organic & vegan! it’s coconut milk based and i chose the ginger vanilla. verdict: love at first bite! definitely will buy again! we also hit up one of our favorite coffee shops called tazza d’oro for some hot beverages and blueberry scones. i cherish our time to just talk over warm cups of caffeine without any distractions! x

how do you like to spend your time when you’re ‘rained in?’

    Reading. Always.

Good choice on the ice cream flavor. I’m all about the ginger and vanilla combo.

Your way of spending time is just the same as I do with my hubby :) Watching a movie and snacking haha. I haven’t tried any coconut ice cream and I’ve never seen that brand before. Did you get it from Whole Foods?

It’s very hot and sort of humid right now here…ugh! For ice cream flavor, I like chocolate always..- dark chocolate if there’s any. and if it has some bitterness and only a bit sweet that’ll be perfect

    Have a good weekend!

jos-it is from whole foods but i think this company is only serving the mid-atlantic stores right now. i really liked it because it wasn’t overly sweet and i love ginger so much :)

It rains about once a year here in Los Angeles and yes I love it. Unless I’m driving in it in which case I curse the rain. :)

    Love your outfit!
