even though we were only in paris this time for 3 days, we managed to squeeze in a ton! part I recap is here in case you missed it. obviously, after a bit of shopping we needed a bit of a recharge. little did we know that we were about to embark on the cutest and tastiest coffee in all of paris! if you find yourself anywhere near the tuileries, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to Télescope cafe. we found refuge for a while here and rested our tired feet! the coffee took 15mins for each of our cups because they did it japanese iced coffee style. i’ve seen it popping up locally in only one boutique coffee store in pittsburgh so far but it’s amazing!
after we felt refreshed from our caffeine buzz, we decided it was indeed time to snag some of the best macarons in the world. i ventured to pierre herme upon gillian’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. i was in heaven! the texture and unique flavor combinations are what sets the pierre herme macarons apart from the famous laduree cookie. my absolute favorite was his ‘mosaic’ macaron which consisted of pistachio & cherry! c’est bon!
we meant to bring our box of 7 home but we ended up eating the whole box with our dinner haha. nom
stay tuned for part III! it’s very colorful

I tried macaroon a while back and it was so sweet like eating a rock sugar @_@ Were the ones in Paris totally different from those?
They surely look pretty though!

the ones in paris are sweet but def not like the ones you can buy in US! it was well worth the sugar bomb

I only had a macaroon once. And I think if I ever have one again it should be in Paris.
My favorite photo was the one I saw on instagram when you were there holding the coffee. It is the epitome of how adorable you are.
