olympic HIIT workout

let’s not kid ourselves and think that we’re going to the games. however, i can’t help but be inspired by the hard bodies work that these athletes put in every day! here’s a 15 minute workout i created that is sure to get your heart pumping and work your entire body with or without any equipment! the cost of this workout is free but the benefits of regular exercise are priceless! remember to treat yourself well and honor your mind and body. those around you are sure to take notice!

set a timer for 15 minutes and perform the following five exercises. repeat AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)

notes:
here’s how to do the hundred
*do not feel that you have to use weights! bodyweight alone will still make you break a sweat! when doing the high knees, try to hit the top of your thighs with your hands–no slacking! it’s more important that you keep good form and perform the exercises correctly than sloppy moves. do not risk injury if something makes you uncomfortable! it’s ok to take a breather and regroup but be sure to get right back into it since you’re only working out for fifteen minutes :) as always, please consult your doctor before undertaking an exercise program. enjoy! x
