wow…didn’t see that one coming!

i’m pretty sure nate deserves an olympic medal for living with me sometimes. if you have ever see this video of kristen bell and the sloth, i am on par with her emotional range. i’m either rejoicing on clouds or feeling the depth of despair at big times of stress. he is never left guessing how i’m feeling but i still surprise him with my random activities.

for example: the other night as i was coloring my little slovakia flag sign for the hrudka, i looked like this:

that’s really attractive isn’t it? i had to ask a few of my indian friends if i bought the right thing since i don’t speak hindi. i know a few nepali phrases from my time in india but am by no means conversational. i was inspired to try this face pack recipe by meg over at sunshine n spice. it’s a thick paste that you pack on but do not rub! so you have these plaster-esque chunks of sandalwood & tumeric on your face until it dries. i left mine on for 30 minutes and gently washed off. it was so cooling and toning! i loved it! i think i’ll try to do this a couple nights a week since i don’t have any kind of night time treatment and don’t feel like spending money on pricey masks!

i might have looked weird but hey nate, i’m not spending our hard earned $$ on fancy schmance sephora swag right? :)

have you ever tried DIY beauty routines? share a recipe with me!

I put hemorrhoid cream under my eyes to get rid of baggage! The lovely drag queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race also do this and featured it on “Drag U.” : )

So what this face mask will do to your face? To remove dead skins?

My only successful DIY beauty product is deodorant :P (mixture of baking soda and coconut oil)- it works wonderful.

I also been off from shampoo for quite a while (using baking soda and apple cider vinegar)- though sometimes it’s still a hit and miss.

And I mostly use coconut oil for moisturizing my skins
