recently, i had the opportunity to go painting with a few girls from work. any outlet where i channel some of my nervous creative energy is much appreciated as is wine while painting
we headed to a place for a 3 hour painting session where we were given instructions by the head painter. the time flew by and i was really thrilled with our end result! the whole experience was light hearted without feeling too pressured…er.. that may or may not have been the wine talking there haha. this would make a really cute date night! nate is a big fan of lichtenstein and i see they have that option in september so we might have to sign up!
here’s my more ‘optimistic’ and not as brooding interpretation of van gogh’s starry night ( i hope he doesn’t mind!)

What a fun idea! I would totally like to do something laid-back like this… it’s when I feel pressured that it’s no longer fun. Gorgeous version of Starry Night!

Your Van Gogh painting doesn’t look bad at all!!
Hmm..I’m not too great with painting but definitely not crafty..I can’t make things in 3 dimensional haha.

I’m more experienced with colored pencils than paint. Your piece looks amazing! I would seriously hang that in my apartment.
