the biological advantage of being awestruck

maybe i needed to see this today. it’s raining & i’m tired, sore from the 10k race on sunday and it’s only tuesday. let’s meet back here after a good hot cuppa ok?

there’s not much evolutionary support for this but just watch it for the images. whether it’s awe or your faith, this is both humbling and pretty amazing!

Wow 10k race? I’ve never been to a race before…was it tough?

considering i haven’t run that far in 2 months..yeah it was kinda hard esp at mile 5 when it was pouring rain! i raced with a friend but that race was too big for my liking…~10,000 runners!! it was hard to get your pace bc you kept having to pass and weave in between people!
