it’s been several years since i got any new glasses and figured that i should head to the doctor and get my eyes checked. lo and behold, a small change was made to my prescription so i headed out to hunt for new frames. unsurprisingly, i found myself disinterested in the usual suspects they have in the offices so i ventured online to warby parker. i selected 5 frames to try on at home for FREE! did you know that you can do that!?
i narrowed my choices down to 3 and tried them on for friends and family. here’s what i came up with: the linwood in violet magnolia!
the best part is that these only set me back $95! even if you have insurance, sometimes you pay more that that! i love the little violet flecks weaving through the tortoise shell pattern! tres chic!

I heard about Warby Parker from my co-worker but since I usually wear contacts more often than glasses, I think I’ll save them for later in the future. Besides as much as I like these type of frame, my nose bridge isn’t high enough to support it so I always have to wear glasses frame with nose bridge rest…:P Btw u look cute with glasses

aw thanks! well, they have some styles with a thicker nose bridge so you should try it out (5 pair to try at a time) i wear my contacts mostly as well but some days i’m just not feeling my contacts and i always wear my specs at night

oh my goodness! what an awesome website! i’ve been meaning to get my eyes checked for ages, but i didn’t want to admit to myself that i don’t have 20/20 vision anymore. now that i’m pregnant, it’s gotten worse and i’ll definitely give that website a try after the baby is born.

OMG those are so cute on you. I actually have the linwoods in striped chestnut and have been eying the violet magnolia ones.
