holy crap you guys. i had to just hit the read all button on my google reader. the last few days, we’ve been in philadelphia, harrisburg, hershey and back in pittsburgh late last night. this morning i went into work super early and busted out all of the critical experimental stuff and left early. wow. it’s scary out there! my car tires were spinning so badly i thought i was going to have to ditch the car on the side of the road and walk a few miles home!

there were buses getting towed and having chains put on the tires. i saw a couple accidents and called nate choking back tears of fear. he was lucky enough to have off today! i did manage to safely make it home and now can add that as my second scariest snow driving experience of all time.

we had no food in our fridge since we spent the last few days away visiting nate’s family so we decided to go on an urban hike to get some groceries. i strapped on my hiking pack and we headed off!

we unpacked and had our gift exchange between the two of us (better late than never right?) i still haven’t even exchanged gifts with my own family yet?! can you say busy?! here’s a sneak peek at some of my ‘haul’ needless to say, i am extremely blessed!
