breaking the silence

first and foremost i want to thank each kind word and reader who left me thoughts, compassion and advice on this very difficult post.

as much as i like to keep things upbeat here on ye ole blog, i am a real person and my life is far from perfect. there are plenty of things that happen behind the scenes that i do not disclose on the interwebz. thank you for your patience as i continue to work through the upcoming challenges! ahem, that said…on with the show.

during the few days i’ve had off from the blog, i’ve been thinking and devising a plan for the future of 2013. that said, it’s only healthy that some of that time be spent day dreaming right?

this is what i’m thinking after things settle down. a trip out west! we’ve only been to san fran and our country is full of beautiful things! once upon a time, i wanted to do a yurt experience in colorado but i think i’ve moved on now to something even more ‘of the earth.’ a full on teepee folks. yep, how gorgeous is this?!

wine. campfire. openair shower. teepee. sign me up!

unplug from technology, stargaze and cuddle around a cozy fire wearing this sweater while i toast marshmallows. . .

who wants to come with me? let’s get packing!

Just went to Montana, Idaho, and Washington last summer. Loved it! Idaho is surprisingly so beautiful. And Montana is breathtaking.

That sounds like an amazing trip. I’ve only been camping a few times, but it would be nice to do it from a more “adult” place, if you know what I mean.

Well you know what they say, when the going gets tough, the tough goes camping! I’m excited for you for this trip. This is a perfect way to get away from the things that stress you out. Have lots of fun and please take many pictures. ^^
