officially over winter & a few new things

with the exception of a freakishly mild day over here on the east coast…is anyone else wearing 300 layers of clothing and shivering over cups of tea? just me? winter can certainly be a frustrating time for those of us who like to take walks in the sunshine or linger over good conversation and cups of caffeine at sidewalk cafes.

here are some interesting things to help you pass the time until the big chill ceases!

1. gorgeous shots of paris in 1914. the metro and font signs haven’t changed a bit!

2. this is a genius idea. who wouldn’t want a little extra TLC during that special time each month ladies? bonus points for chocolat! oui!

3. have you heard of material wrld? you can shop other people’s closets for vintage, low or high end designer wear for less! it’s a first come, first served concept and might i say, fabulous!

hope you’re enjoying today, we’re halfway to the weekend! x

    That tampon parcel is amazing!

PS You paint such an amazing image in this sentence:

“winter can certainly be a frustrating time for those of us who like to take walks in the sunshine or linger over good conversation and cups of caffeine at sidewalk cafes.”

    LOVE it.

Le Parcel sounds awesome! It’s more expensive than the giant box of OB I buy, but I can definitely get down with chocolate and a present.

Ha – I had this exact thought as I was leaving work yesterday. Up until now I was still able to get excited about snow, bundling up, hot chocolate etc, but all of a sudden it was just like “nope. winter, i am done with you.” Although we did have a really beautiful snowfall overnight so…maybe my tolerance for winter will return :)
