let me fill you in a not so secret spot nestled in the neighborhood of highland park. it’s called ‘food glorious food‘ and they are a tiny bakery that specializes in european confections. the line snakes through the tiny shop nearly out the door at times and you must go early before they sell out!
salted caramel, vanilla & lavender macarons are a must! oh yes, and a side of flowers for some spring thaw thinking!
who else is ready for the end of winter? what is your favorite part of springtime?

I love seeing the spring flowers start to pop up. We’ve got crocuses and snow drops showing up already (spring comes early in DC) but I’m ready for some more color.
